It is a shorie at high tide but when the swell is big there are some good waves.
Generally a small wave spot populated by beginners and groms (great to get a small air) but when a large swell pushes threw with an offshore wind it becomes big, hollow and fast.
The best i have seen it was 5' with a nice barrel pealing down the beach for what seemed an eternity.

Frequency of 1st reef - I've been bodyboarding Pt Leo for about 5-6 years in that time i've been there about 100 times when theres been a good swell. Five of those times 1st reef was working, the rest of the time it was just average 1-2f slow crumbs. I must say though when it was working it was 4-5ft offshore fast barrels but i wouldn't wait for that you will grow old waiting for a occasion like that.

The Pt of Leo - Pt Leo quite possibly the most enjoyable bodyboarding break in the Land when working
