Additional Information
Check marine bouy readings at noaa station 45007. If the winds are above 20 knots and from 300 to 10 degrees. then go for it! So if you see a big storm coming in from the north get there early to avoid the crowds. Also the first waves of the storm are the cleanest. Things start to degrade as time goes by. Usually the rip next to the pier will suck you out. Don't do the pier jump cause there are alot of rocks just below the surface.

Atmosphere
It's pretty fun if the waves are big and no one is around. Jet-skis will kill a session if the waves are under 5 ft. Jokers from up north might try to act like they're at pipe if the waves get bigger than 4 ft. Try to keep smiling.
