A good wave to surf when the nearby Watch Hill and Misquamicut beaches are blown out and closing out. Swell has to be at least 4-5 feet for this to break.
Atmosphere
Surfed during an Autumn hurricane swell when Watch Hill was blown out. No crowds, and great fun waves.

needs swell to break - i've surfed this break a bunch of times, you need at least head high to overhead swell for it to break far out at the jetty. but when watch hill is blown out with overhead closeouts, this spot has a really fun left and it's almost always uncrowded.
last time i surfed this was in the hurricane bill swell, there were at least a dozen guys out, but that swell was pretty hyped up.
overall, a really fun beach/jetty break, but you gotta stay as close to the jetty as possible because the rest of the beach just closes out. really fun, smooth left and gets up to chest high when you get a good swell.
