Atmosphere
This is my favorite stretch on the east coast. 4 miles of jettis spaced about 300 yards from each other create well formed sandbars catching focused swells. you can go any day during the fall winter and spring and find a 25-50 yard wall to yourself that may not sound like much but, consider that your alone or with only friends and can pretty much catch waves at will and it sounds a whole lot better. and on those days when your craving longer rides theres a certain street you can go to which will have more of a crowd but with walls that can go for over 75yards
Not World class for actual wave quality but with regular swells (Probaly 70days of the year on a decent year)cool locals and good night scene this stretch can claim that status

Harvey - Was my favorite place to surf as a grom and teen, before moving out to the Pacific. Hello to the boys of Forked River. Evan, Steve, and their Dad, Pete, Justin, and a list of others. All the best!Come out to the Pacific and Asia, I could never surf with a suit again, been spoiled for the last 8 years. Is Wave Jammer Surf in Toms River still open?
