just on the other side of the highway from the lunchwagons. watch for thieves. be low pro if alone. lots of south side local guys.
Atmosphere
great views of koko head crater and on clear days you can even see molokai across the channel.
General
has a nice bowling left peak in the reef that can drop out really quick. been worked here so many times. short paddle. easy access.

CAR GOT BRICKED.GLASS EVERY WHERE - surfed irma's today,to many kooks from town that can't paddle out at ala mo's crap water. cracks and dinging boards all day. Some kook thought he was bad,catching all kind waves, untill he got back to his car and discovered his car got bricked and rocked.glass every where. CHEE-HEE

hazards - locals? lol locals are the least of your worries. GEtting washed up onto the rocks is what you gotta watch out for. THe currents get strong here. IT drags you into the rocks somtimes

ermas reef break - I've surfed ermas as long as I can remember. On good days, ermas can throw some great sets. look out for reef, tide changes, occasional sharkie. also, on a big day don't get stuck on the left shelf. you'll be done. barrels to be had. also, when ermas and AD waves start connecting, ermas is hands-down best spot in hawaii kai.
