Wave breaks out beyound point, the take off spot is small and the wave has a fairly mean closeout end section when the swell is running. It doesn't handle much size, although on the occasional good conditions is very elegant. Sunnymeade has the longest lulls in surfing history because the bottom is shallow offshore. It is basically a mal wave but can be fun for kids.
Atmosphere
Very rural feel great views along the rocky cliffline.
General
fickle

show respect - This is a real locals break and the influx of Melbourne people on weekend is really starting to take its toll on the local community! So show some respect to the locals and you wont find yourself being abused and sent to the beach by a bunch of locals!

like snapper....... - i would have to agree with the other bloke on the previous page... it is like snapper being a long wave, but blacknose is pretty powerful at the same time... And to the fuckhead saying blacknose is a reef break what the hell are you on... obvisouly u havent surf it.. Its point break with rocks and it works when theres a bit of sand on the rocks and when the conditions line up its good.
SUNNYMEADE is a great wave.. surfed it a while back on a school comp and say a few guys getting shaked before we headed in...
