- Rocks
Find the take off point, and stay there all day. Dont ride this wave on smaller days, or on higher tides. As the rocks on the point will become a problem.
Try to ride the wave all the way to the beach, then walk up around the point and paddling becomes obsolete
Atmosphere
It has a great atmosphere, with mostly locals using the break. Most people know each other out in the water, and everyone is up for a chat.
General
This is my fav break, being somewhat in experienced, it provides a great learners wave, but everyone can get some nice long rides.

What Tides are surfable at Kennet? - I have a surfing guide to Victoria which saids .5m (or less) low tide is best for Kennet. It is very hard to catch a tide at .5m throughout the year. Is it still surfable on low tides from .5m - 1m or is it flat on those tides?. Been trying to get back here for ages it is one fo my fave spots, your help appreciated.
