Sit wide so you don't run into the pylons holding up the pier. The wave stands up steeply then peels right for about fifteen metres before dissipating into deep water.
Atmosphere
The wave is situated in Port Phillip Bay hence the wave is created by wind swell. A STRONG south-easter is required for this place to start working.
General
The wave is suprisingly powerful albeit short. In these conditions there are very few options for surfing. Nice little wave.
