Everyday trade swell keeps it headhigh to overhead every day at least. Winds kick up a surface chop by afternoon but the inside is in a bay that stays nice and clean. There is only once company that has a license to do surf charter around Santa Cruz so you will never surf with anyone but your travel companions.
