| | This spot it´s amazing! Starts to work when all beaches of east coast of the island are out of control with giant east swell (10-12 ft). The wave starts to break in front of a big rock. Breaks like snnaper rocks in australia. I good days you can get the wave in front of the rock and go until ponta das canas. In good days you can ride about 300 mts in the wave. Strong currents in this spot! Be careful! This spot is also knowed as one of the most violence local crew in Florianópolis. The local crew of the spot will make you sure that you´re unwelcome here. The rocks are very dangerous at time you jump in the water. If you respect the locals, they will respect you. But it´s not sure that you´ll be welcome here! The wave it´s a legend wave, very, very, very long. In front of the rock, you can get barreled in the good days at the first section. At all, the waves offer floaters, snaps, cutbacks, aerials....
