Driving on A1A, it is south of Sunny Isles or north of Bal Harbor. If you are heading south, turn right at the kite shop and go under the bridge to the spot. If you are driving north, turn right into the park after the bridge. Watch out for speeding limit, cops will fine you. Parking on south side stupidly expensive.

Additional Information
Spanish is handy when surfing this spot, as you may have to scream when dropping at the break. Be careful with swimmers, there are lots during the weekend that BBQ and drink all day, then come for a swim right at the break, some pretty drunk.

Atmosphere
Showers are on the right, as you drive to the exit facing north.Be careful when padling past the jetty as the incoming tide may suck you into the inlet. If that happens, let it go in before trying to climb the rocks.

Info - Hey there, I just moved to the area and heard this is probably the best option to find surf near miami. So far Ive been here 3 months an no surf to speak of. Any pointers on how to tell when we will get some surf other than actually driving to the beach and cheking it out?? What conditions should I look for?? Thank you!
