idiots - well look on the map, dont u see how the island is made in to a cape...there is a point there...hence the point...must get epic on a south swell, and can handle the N winds

never heard of it - I moved to Florida from NVA and I picked up surfing now i have to go back. is this place surfable all year long?

Its called the hole - I surf this spot, there used to be a deep spot off the sand bar where some good swell, and it would draw some nice waves. Its good break in the early spring and throughout the winter. Otherwise the summer swell is during offshore hurricanes and tropical storms. The hole is located north about a half mile from furthest left parking lot. Check out my website for surf reports.... www.surfassateague.com
