Chill - I live 15 minutes away from southside. Who ever wrote that you own South side i highley doubt it because the place is always crawling with kooks. You gotta chill anywere you go in the world your going to have to deal with localism and if you surf in delaware or any of Delmarva you should be thankfull for what we get becuase we do tend to get shit waves out side of the winter and hurricane season.. AS to the spot South Side is like my second home ive had the soem of my best rides from the east coast at this spot and the pits are amazing if you catch it on a good swell. Me personally have been to the west coast and to several different countries can still say that southside is a good way up my list of best spots. Only because i bodyboard and enjoy getting pitted and then getting destryoed.. So everyone i think should chill becuase thier are few times were you can surf alone anymore... The sport is growing so you should hop along for the ride...

south side is cool
hey i live like 3 miles from this beach- when a big storm comes up the coast the waves r huge great bodyboarding but the current will be strong
if u skimboard in the summer there will always be a few skimmers there(including me) usally some pros
the waves can range i have see 20ft waves there and 2 ft waves but u will average 5-6 ft waves and will be pleased"
You wouldn't be able to see a 20' wave from the beach, parking lot or probably the highway, because they wouldn't be there.
The average there is above knee high with occasional really good days, but more times than not out of the year it's like many places on the EC, minimal.
