- its skunked because you arent going to the right places at the right times. It's as simple as this, if you want to get phenomenal surf sesh's in Maine, you just have to put in the time and effort to know a huge variety of spots like the back of your hand, the conditions they take for swell size, direction, period, tides, windspeed, wind direction, and a plethora of other factors like becoming an amateur meteorologist. if you do this, you will slay

- fortunes is best in the winter and spring. late summer it can get very flat unless something tropical comes along the coast. If you do go there try and stay to the left of the lifeguard stand because there are some gnarly rocks you can't see at mid-high tide. I surf it all spring and summer because of college, but i have been there during winter storms and its nuts.

this place rips - its not a beginner spot, massive standup tubes on nice storm days, beware of sharks, and agro locals aka me..dont come here it sucks...oh yea and surfing sucks dont try it
