The classic hawaiian wave, beautiful to look at, beautiful to ride.

Going 2 Kauai In December - I am going to Kauai in December and am looking for some good spots to boogie board. I've been boogie boarding for about 5 years though not consistant. I am an intermediate rider and am looking forward to riding some good waves. Thanks, Kawika

AD - I surfed here about 10 years ago now.. I remember it to be very fun, hollow, strong. Overhead+, only downer was the drop was a little sketchy, surely if you pearl on takeoff you better have some solarez for your board and maybe some for your ass. :)

- I heard a story about a pro surfer back in the 60 who would to drop acid and go big in Kauai I wonder if that where the name for these spot came from. Although I surfed here and it’s a gnarly wave to drop in to so who knows.
