This break is known as winansea's big brother. Its a hollow, powerful, La Jolla Reef break. Bring a bigger board than usual and be in shape.
There is plenty of places to eat around down town La Jolla.
It's a good wave, be experienced and in shape.

waterhog - SO...if anybody still is reading this...Let me get this straight. Simmons is that hollow closeout wave that breaks next to that big rock like 100 yards north of Windansea? because yeah I've only seen it break big on a NW a handful of times. I saw one guy paddle over from the North and get psyched out. Anyways so is that Simmons? Or is that Rockpile? and what break is "Turtles?" just curious. I know Windan' well but not the names of the other peripheral breaks.
