Atmosphere
Easy access and few crowds mark the attributes of this spot. Waves can be closed out and generally offer only a short ride. A mix of short and longboarders can be seen. Plenty of space to spread out, even on the most crowded days.
General
Seems like a comfortable spot to surf. Regulars are friendly and there's no teritoriality to be seen. Generally a mellow, fun surf spot with decent waves, but nothing too special.

wow - What happened to this place? I live across the street in those condos and I haven't seen it good in a long time. Granted, torrey has always been fickle, but on the right swell this place used to really turn on. Haven't seen good sandbars in forever. Anyone know?

recently crowded - I never thought I would say this but this place is no longer empty. It's actually been crowded this winter and seems every kook in the water drove in on the 56. So this place is now fickle, backs off, closes out and is CROWDED. You inland wanna be surfers rank high on the Kookometer! SincerelyThe management

Don't bother - You should not surf here. There is never a surfable wave ever, so, go to Crowdiff or Swarmi's where funboards are more welcome. Thank you.
