holds when big - surfed this place when everything else in area (ranch, Saladita, Loma Bonita) was big and out of control. This place was a left barrel machine, really good, but yes, it was also owned by local guys. Some really piggy dudes who took off on EVERYTHING regardles of actually making it. One guy in a black rashguard who deserved a serious beat-down. Still definately agood spot, worth the hassle. Try and rent the house that is literally right in front (30 yards) from the break. Although it is right in the bay at Zihuat, and close to town, you either have to boat in, or do a 15 min rock walk to get there. Cool spot.

Locals Rule - Surfed this place about 10 years ago at about 4-6ft. It breaks right against the corner of this little bay andthe take off for the bowl is directly over some nasty shallow rock reef. The locals have it dialed in,so I know it breaks way more than 5 times a year. Wait for the hot rats to catch the sets and scrape for the scaps because this is heavylocalism.
