You 'll find the wave near the airport of Moorea at the beach

Surfers love this wave: consitancy, length, power, quality. It's one of the best wave in Polynesia. Come here if Taapuna is closing out. You can walk to the spot from the airport. This is a very shallow reef: don't fall here.
Don't bring any cameras or photo equipment, locals get pissed. Go with someone who knows the locals and goes there often or you may get hassled.
Insane wave, sketchy atmosphere, scary in the hollow section, can be very dangerous if you fall, pain in the ass going in and out.

Surf trip - I'm heading out there in Sept. with 8 of my friends and 2 camara men. Is there a good place to stay at tamae. We will put some shots in the mags and might even make a movie of the trip especially if we head over and get footage of huahene. We will stay there for a mounth. This will be a nice break from those shitty waves in Brazil. Can't wait to try the local flavor either, maybe some land rights!

Last comment - I bet and hopethis last one was just purely provocative, or stupidness hs no bounds... and not to say but brazilian are pretty much hated everywhere, in Bali foreigners and tourist all hate them hassling in padang and bingin just as if thy were home, just because they are 20 and do jiu jitsu....
