surfs up - when u look at the map of oz itlooks like a north east swell generated in the tasman sea would make it into bass straight and break on the north coast,spots around stanley for example.can anybody verify this.

yeah....... - heyDevonport is a pretty good break when you get a good W/NW. there is a fair few spots around so when you get a good NW about 20-30 knots you can expect there to be some quality surf there!so it can be good.I've been there a few times when it's been good and it was pretty sick for the north coast
