The nobbies reef shorey is often overlooked but fast lefts can come in giving some good rides and barrells even. It's good if your not a complete begginner but not ready to tackle the outside breaks.
Atmosphere
groms early on the weekends, its a pretty good spot to practise moves. fun atmosphere, noone drops in and hoots are in order
General
defeniter for the groms to get airs and cutties down. good spot when the reef is big for bodyboarders looking for a hollow barrell.

More Bullshit - Why do people insist on posting CRAP. First of all the break is called Nobbys Bank or The Bank. Secondly it can handle 6ft max. Old mate Norman(few comments back)reckons he's surfed it 15ft. Fuck off idiot.The dude who comments on the old farts there should take a leaf out of their book.You probably ride a lid anyway.Locals have enjoyed epic sessions there when the rest of Newcastle is un rideable. Ask the old farts about the epic barrels. Get some pride and some honesty you lame ducks. We now know you guys can't surf and hav'nt had it epic. One of the reasons I've moved to Tassie. Good riddens cretons.
