VNZLA es lo que manda! - yo, if you go to Caracas go to playa pelua, is 20 min from the airport and between december until marz you can find 3 to 5 ft waves, specially in hurracan seasons. Surf shops: Kannibal in caracas, Bachaco in La Guaira, and there many others too.

Info Need... - HI! I am travelling to Venezuela next month, I just would like to ask for some suggested surf spots for beginners (possibly beach brakes without rocks). I saw many, but I'm wondering if I will find a surf shop where I can rent a board or how much a board can cost (a mini malibu). Thank you all! Bye

Need advice? Send me an email - I am from the capital of Venezuela which is Caracas. I just wanted to tell everyone if you need any kind of advice related to ANYTHING! just send me an email so i can help you out. I am not a guide or something, just a normal person helping out haha. I might not help with your question sometimes because as you and i know no one knows everything! hehe. There are some decent surfing spots near the capital that i know.

Boards on Planes - Has anybody used Iberia Airlines to take a board from Caracas to Europe recently? I'd be interested to know how much you had to pay if you did. I've been told its $400, which seems a little harsh.

Gracias!
