question! - Hey I have family and friends in the Navy who are stationed in virginia and i'm coming to visit this july. My cousin wants to take me to buckroe beach and I was wondering if this was the best spot around the area to surf?? I was also going to bring my board with me but only if it's going to be worth it. If anyone has any info or advice I would love to hear from ya.

skimmers also welcome - buckroe beach is good to surf when a storm is around. I like buckroe for skimboarding, good for flatland and practice. waves are sometimes big enough to ride and get air.

It was front page on the paper - No one is giving away a secret spot. They had a picture of a guy surfing here on the front page of the daily press.
