it does exist - my first winter trip of the season was last weekend. using these directions i was able to find this place. its unlike anything ive ever seen. a rock, not sand bottom, makes for a strange type of break.

Huge shack - Yo this place is insane. It was a little difficult to find. The directions are a bit spotty, but this place fires. It was so intense I was unable to make it into the lineup. Anyway I saw this guy the locals call "Choogs" make a 4 foot air drop into a pit so big one of those Loveladies mansions would have fit inside. He then disappeared for 8 or 9 seconds before popping out some 100 yards down the beach. Furthermore, I am told he rode that wave a a wooden single-fin he made himself. This place really does look like Log Cabins.

Haters abound - While it is distressing to see one of the few uncrowded sweet spots of NJ exposed to pozeurs on this site, make no doubts about it...Clam alley is for real. It is a true marine geographic anomaly to find the rock formations this far northeast, but any nonbelievers can contact the Navy as they've done a bottom survey of virtually every ocean, lake, river and various other bodies of water located in North America. This reef formation can be found by those who possess clever sleuthing techniques. That being said, the Jersey Juice was delivered in epic form this past March 12 and only a few lucky souls knew where to find it or had the connections to get there. I aint a heavy local, just a surfer who likes big waves and making smooth rail-to-rail transitions and an occasional thundercrack-like lip smack. Respect was shared by sll those in on the sesison and we now share the memories of a truly great day of surfing. And those who say "you're a fag" are usually those who deeply want to pass a dick thru their chapped, ass kissing lips.

clam alley? - this spot is home to some cool locals but youll never see them.. There is a bodysurfer here that does stuff on waves I couldnt even describe...the good surfers here dont take themselves seriuosly...for the most part all jersey surfers are laid back and have a good sense of humor about them...which is refreshing in this for sunny garcia ever surfing here...if thats true I wish i could of been there to surf with him
