Take Carmel Valley Road off the 5 and go left at the coast. There you are my friends. It can get insane. I surfed it at 4-5 feet (8-10 foot faces) with a 6*4 and got some of the fastest and best barrels ever! Never gonna get it - Your never gonna see it go off. It only happens when your at work. Go ahead and go there, get a tan, and all that. But dont expect to surf.

tricky pines - Much of the time it can be a worthless, powerless closeout. But when the tides in the middle and the swell is over 4 feet out of the WNW this spot can really turn on. There are guys that surf well and really know the spot. The rest are kooks. So in reality its never that crowded. Take what you want, but respect the ones that can surf....P.S... There's some funny looking sharks out there. Beware!

Torrey Pines - I used to live in SD and surfed numerous spots in North County. But I have never in my life seen Torrey Pines break. The place simply isn't surfable. I think this spot is a hoax. One even wonders about the photos.
