Surfs Up! - Whats up brahs!? My friend that goes to Dalhousie showed me this site and told me it was where to come and learn about surfing in Nova Scotia! Me and my 3 friends are thinking about moving to Halifax for the summer and working in surf shops and learning how to surf. We are in Toronto now and we only ever surfed before when we went to Daytona Beach, Florida for spring break and it was really awesome and a blast! Then we saw Blue Crush the other day and got totally stoked on surfing again and want to surf in NoVa ScOtIa :)I heard that the girls there love surfers too! We are gonna drive down in my new BMW S.U.V. that I got this year for graduating. I also found these gloves that ya can wear and they have webs between the fingers that help ya paddle better. How totally sweet is that!? Can't wait to see you guys in the water and going to all the killer beach parties! Peace brahs!
Fuck Y'all - So much shit talkin' going down in this muthafucka. I'm selling my quiver and paddling out this summer on a 6ft inflatable dolphin. I'm dropping in on everyone and if you complain I'm gonna kick the shit out of you or die trying. Then I'm gonna grease up the dolphin, cram it up your stupid asses, and chill on the beach under an umbrella drinking and watching you all surf like shit

Surf Spots - There are only two surf spots in Nova Scotia. Lawrencetown beach and Martinique beach. You may hear talk of some other waves around the area, but there are dangerous levels of water pollution and you'll get really sick. The only safe places to go are L-town and Martinique. Tell your friends.
Beginner Info - As a beginner there are many spots you can go to. Just rent a board somwhere and show up at Minutes or Backyards in Cow Bay. The locals there are really nice and always looking to help new people surf and teach them tricks like busting big gnarly airs. On the really big days though you probably will want to go to Seaforth and surf there. Usually there are only a few people around and there are lots of room for beginners there. Oh yea Lawrencetown can get really big and scary and the locals there can be really aggro so you might wanna stay away.
surfer wannabe - Hey,I live in NS and I really want to try to learn surfing this summer...I've done the whole snowboarding thing but the season is changing and I want to try something new....I thought Lawrencetown would be the place to go because thats the only place I've ever heard of to go and surf but by the sounds of the messages on here its definately not.Somebody write me and tell me where I should go as a first timer!
Not Suprised - I figured it wasnt long before somthing like that happened. Oh well some ppl just gotta learn the rules the hard way I guess. I see that jeep all the time too, and once the guy drove my roomate home from Backyards so I figured he was ok. Go figure.

Turnin' up the heat - So, anybody know who smashed out the windshield in the red Frozen Ocean Jeep at the Moose a few weeks back? I'm guessing it was someone who surfs because those cats are rich kids from calGArY that go to Dal and refuse to follow the rules in the line-up.

The one and only one - Come on...are you serious???...you dunno the World famous and respected Jeff "monkey dick" Cunningham...get a history book of surfing dude!

Popular - Who the hell is Jeff Cunningham?
Whats the Deal? - I never seen such a hurting group of people in all my travels. Get it together boys. This place is far from crowded your all a bunch of insecure pricks who are scared to admit that someone might surf better than them :O It's all about fun and no none of ya's are pro, and the contests here are garbage anyways so grow the fuck up and JUST SURF!!!!!!!
