Vieques Info - This little island has a few good breaks that you can see in one day. But the fact is that june is a flat season but hurricane season as well, so your staying have to coincide with the path of a hurricane. So keep watching the storms satellites & bring your board just in case.
Vieques - I am thinking about going to Vieques on my honeymoon in June '05. Should i even bring boards??? I don't care about knowing "where the breaks are", I just don't wanna be pounding sand if it's gonna be 8' and firing...the pics I've seen of the island are all really flat, but i think that's for the non-surfing traveler.

Waterman NJ - I'll be waiting for you & son. give me a call when you're here 787-466-8323. Yes Machuca's Garden is east of ethiopia store and west from los tubos. There're two ways to get to machuca; one from Barceloneta crossing the river mouth, this place is call La Boca with good lefts & rights, and the other from the other side of the river, thats Manati. From Manati you have to take road 616, pass by my house and keep till it ends into a dirt road. This dirt road just open on weekends friday to sunday, the other days you have to walk longer.
shapers in PR - yes we have a few: Pelicano, werner vega, etc.

Jeff, my suggestion - The town of Isabela has a great hotel at a low price, it's near 7 surfing spots and 6 mins from Aguadilla, with more spots, can't give you exact details of the hotel's name but try to gather information in that area, lots of surfing tourist gather here.
Hotels outside San Juan near surf? - Wife and I are looking to visit and we'd like to stay somewhere comfortable (hotel) near beautiful 'tanning' beach that might be complimented by a good surf spot. Any suggestions. We're on a limited budget and don't want to pay to stay in San Juan more interested in beauty, surfing, and fun and maybe making our limited $$$ last a little longer. We are planning on late October. Please send links, advice, suggestion. Thanks You, Jeff
