Info on surfing Oaxaca-Chiapas area - I will be driving down through Mexico and meeting a friend in Tapachula. I prefer good, uncrowded surf over epic crowded waves. Where are the best breaks of this type? Any information would be appreciated.

Chiapas - Is there still an airport in tapachula? the waves are great in the Puerto Madero area. Lots of jetties. I know the situation is tough, but travel light and watch your butt.

is it worth the price - the economic instability of this politically oppressed area has the "bandito factor" on the rise.....the road of southern Oaxaca is desolate and dangerous ...doesn't Tahiti sound nicer???
