very well said Dona Soledad - Where is Don Genaro? Is he at Las Animas?

old man, and the sea won't get crowded - c'mon Old Man, it's not like 90,000 people are going to start surfing there. It only breaks when it's bigger than 10ft, and most sissy so-cals won't even go out then, or be able to go out due to access.

We should all focus are energies at defeating the "surf contest". They close off Trestles for what? We don't get anything except a closed beach. They (the contest organizers, the crotch rocket riders, and surf industry companies) get $$ and a wave with no one out. How does that work? Then the "good exposure" for the sport gets more people to buy boards, creating even more crowded line ups. I can't believe they have a "world tour". What a bunch of self important losers. How do they get the right to close the beach? How the hell does that work? Because it gives the city tax revenue? Exposure? C'mon.

There is one place to surf perfect waves. There will never be anyone out. It will never be revealed. That place is located between the sunrise and sunset. Sleep long lines. The place of no pity. The place of no dialogue. Assemble your fibers and burn from within.
