No More - I am sorry Alvaro Solano. I meant to say that these guys take any wave they want from anybody and if you say something to them they want to start stuff and fight while we are all on vacation. It is so stupid and I am over it. They are disrespecting the whole Purda Vida feeling. These guys are Pure Assholes if you ask me,and pros are very nice towards other people and locals. Joel,Kyle and Robbie always bring pros down and they freakin rip Costa! Purda Vida Alvaro!

To Mr. No More - Tell me, how long have you been surfing for? When I went to CR some 12 years ago, there were hardly ANY ticos who surfed. Then, thanks fo tourism, surfing got big in CR and ticos liek you took to the sport. Good- I hope you have as much fun as everybody else. Funny though, this my country my wave smack. You didn't seem to care too much about your waves until just a few years ago, and if you are so proud of your country, just realize its drugs, tourist and western dollars that keep it afloat. Still can love it, but economically speaking ($$) it really isn't your country. Hello Starbucks coffee planations!
No More - The funny thing is that the coolest tourists are pro surfers, at least the real ones. I've met many of them and they are super nice. They come to Costa Rica with a great attitude, smiling, and willing to mingle with local people. Most importantly, even though they shred like hell...they RESPECT!
No More - I agree...drop the attitude and just surf, have fun, and enjoy the scenery. I couldn't believe it when the other day some guy from California was hassling me for a wave. In my country? In my break? Please! I don't go to Cali and demand waves, I adapt, make friends with locals, and just chill. You americans are cool so just come here and peace out, don't be hating!

No more - Costa Rica is played out! Too many people everywhere I try to surf. And they all think they are pro surfers when none of them get paid to surf. Enjoy your vacations, don't bring that agro-pro surfer attitude here, relax and just surf no more hassling when someone has the peak dammit

In Costa Rica Alone - Hey, I'm planning to go to CR for 3 weeks. My first stop is Hermosa, and I may stay there from July 27-August 13, or therabouts. Is there anyone else out there who will be alone in CR at this time? I would love to find someone else to split room and car costs. Any other advice is much appreciated...
Playa Hermosa - Whats the surf like in Hermosa for Mid July?? Any sign of friendly crocks in the area?
Flight over charge on Surf Board. - Never ever fly Continental airlines they are the biggest thives, the flight price is cheap but any little extra thing will cost you too much money. They charged me 180$ per direction, they are thives.
