Tuncurry (9mile) rips - Tunnas can get some fukin awesome waves and when it gets going u cant beat it. Some of the lefts and rights and the barrells are the best i have ever seen.

- yes it is...and the north end can pump also when the swell is from the south or south east. Southerly swells struggle to get into tuncurry.

- is this the same beach that runs 9 miles up to blackhead?

By anonymous , 04-12-2004

- This spot cracks on big swell, good all round wave.

- On some of the bigger days Tunners can have a fairly heavy hold down.
