looking for travel buddy/s - Hi,
I´m actually staying on bali for a few months, but would like to leave the island for a couple of weeks. Thought about going east to Lombok, especially Sumbawa(more the west coast) and maybe Sumba. Or going west to Java( Pacitan, Pangandaran, Grajagan and of course exploration). Would like to go for about 3 weeks with motorbike from now on until end of August. Sharing a car is also an opportunity.
To have some company and a better time while travelling I´m looking for a/some travel buddy/s with similar ideas.
I´m 28, german and would consider myself as a intermediate surfer.
So, hope to hear from you.
Bali Surfing is the best - Im michael, I am in Bali, I am staying in an awesome villa, and am on an awesome surf tour. I just got back from my boat trip around Lombok and Sumbawa, Im going to G-Land tonight.
If you want a an awesome professional surf guide that will look after you, and have the time of your life talk to Leo Walsh of bali surfing tours at www.bali-surfing.com and he will set you up!! Keep surfing...
Bali Next Week - Hi all, visting Bali next week by my own (German) till mid of april - Maybe we meet at the spots. BR
Week with the girl - Hi peoples
I was hoping to get some feedback from some bali vets. I'm coming over in September with my girlfriend for a week. Where would be best where I can wake up and go surfing without having to mission with bemo's, etc.
Was checking out Nusa Dua since I'm regular footed. Will happily travel in the day to explore but am looking for a spot where I can hit an afternoon/morning sesh by grabbing my board and going. Not packing for a day trip and every time I wanna surf... Its pretty much a package deal with flight/hotel I was hoping to get.
Any feedback would be great.
Been in Bali for a long time - I came to Bali years ago and could not manage to leave. The waves in Bali can be crowded but they are just so fun. I now work in the property industry in Bali. If any surfers want to know about owning property in Bali. You can contact me online. Here is a link of just a few villas for sale close to all the famous Bukit waves. http://www.baliharmonyvillas.com/

ditto - feral's description is accurate. I had the same experience and feeling about the place. I felt like prey. But if you shrug it off, the waves are worth it.
