Take a ferry to Robben Island. Request a lift anti clockwise to the NW corner of the island. Find a wreck and look to the left. You can't miss it. There are two other reef breaks to the left of the break.

- We use to call it "the quarry" and surfed it weekly from '85 up to '91. Works best on a 4 to 5 ft swell on lowtide with south easter blowing. It breaks on a rock slab with a nice peak but the left is the best option. Anything over 6 foot is not worth it as it pushes you onto the rocks infront of the stone quarry before you get to enjoy the ride. On lowtide it gets super hollow and it is such a waist that only about 4 guys have ever surfed it at its best or that it has not been surfed in the last few years. Glad im one of the lucky few.

- this wave is sick. Bottom line, and you can get away with surfing here if u have a brain! Else leave it to me and my mates!!
