July 2006
I was in Parguito one month ago and the waves were good. It wasn't crowded and the locals were friendly. You should bring your own board with you because the boards you can rent there are low cuality. I had a good time... Greets Mitch

parguito
Drop in city, locals will be on your case, and most of them cannot surf, there a a couple of exceptions, me and my mates got dropped in on constantly only to watch a kook flapping along in front. I have surfed all over the world, this beach has the worst vibe in the water i have ever experienced!!! I had some mates over for a month or so and they thought the same thing. Really the break is a shitty beachbreak. Much better waves, even in margarita if you are a little adventurous. Leave the sheep to their crowded closeouts.

Rent a board in Margarita
You can go to el Sanbil mall in Porlamar and you will find a Quicksilver shop there expect around €200/300 to buy a short board!

Or you can rent some boards on the beach but quality is very low…

Good surf and be careful with your belongings,

Have a nice trip to la ISLA!

Surf shops
With the introduction of extra cold flat waters in the English south coast, I might be tripping to Isla Margherita later this year. Obviously desiring to catch a few of those fun waves in Caribe warm waters, I am wandering if there are now any surf shops/places to hire boards.
If anyone can help, please post a notice on this board. Cheers

Donde Chamo
Bueno, gracias, pero si a caso que las olas en Parguito no estan muy buenas donde puedo ir para encontrar mejor olas. Deber estar varios lugars aparte de Parguito verdad?
