From Valencia: Take the highway to Puerto Cabello (~ 45 Km). Once you get to puerto Cabello, stay in the highway and follow the signs ( Ganango - Patanemo). It takes about 20 minutes (15 Km) from Puerto cabello to Patanemo. The beach has a couple of point breaks, to get to the coral-reef point you have to walk all the way to the West of the bay. The point right in the beack is not too good, it is a sandy bottom but the waves break in one bar, and you usually have to deal with a bunch of swimers. |
