los caracas
if anyone from venezuela is reading this...please drop me a line. I am heading down to venezuela between christmas and new years. Im looking to get some surfing in, but I dont know anyone down there. Im not looking to crowd a local spot or be a disrespectful kook. Ive surfed my whole life and i know what its like having tourists crowd your break. With that in my mind, you can be sure that any info I get I am not going to use to be an asshole. If you want to show some aloha and help a dude out, please email me.

best spot in the world for me when its bad its sucks, but during winter time when strong cold front roll by best spot in the plannet barrels long rights and left handers but crowed as fuck

best spot in venezuela by far no doubt, only to many dumb people not respecting the line up but still los caracas on a good swell is where everybody goes to show there skill

anyone know where you can get fcs and leashes in caracas or on the coast.my kiwi mate has just arrived in venezuela and the airlines have lost his rucksack.all his fins and leashes were inside it !!!!there used to be a surf shop in macuto..is it still there ????

Surfing at Los Caracas
I surfed there in 1994 and got some good waves even in the off season. Its a really fun break and worth checking out.

Los Caracas
One time Michael Baron was visiting Venezuela,doing some shapes and so forth, when a swell hit in Nov. You've should of seen his face of total happiness , he had been recently in Hawaii but at that moment in Venezuela his words were full of joyfull emotions " the waves are so good ,so damn good! He was totally stoked with Los Caracas going off. In that moment I realized that Los Caracas is a special place , When there's the right swell it is worldclass. On the other hand the crowds can be a nightmare.

My home spot, really good in hurricane seasons, right waves, funny and ocassionally gets big for the place (6 - 8 feet). The problem: is not much consistent...
