surf and tourism for beginners
Hi

We are three guys who are traveling to Venezuela in May 2009.
I was wondering if you can give me an advice about where we could go to take surf lessons combining tourism as well.

awsom surf!
I was in VZ in january an there was great surf on margarita. try playa parguito and playa el agua...its defintly worth bringing a board with you. the people are very nice and as long as you respect the locals your good. Dani

hi guys
i just came back from venezuela
if you want to go there mainly for surfing forget there may be something but at least in july august its not worth a surf trip
there are cheaper destinations with much better waves

Boards on Planes
Has anybody used Iberia Airlines to take a board from Caracas to Europe recently? I'd be interested to know how much you had to pay if you did. I've been told its $400, which seems a little harsh.

Hola a todos! En los proximos meses estaré en caracas trabajando y no tendré irme para ir a surfear! Es que hay alguién que querría compartir su carro conmigo? Ya que soy nativo hablante de inglés podría practicar su inglés conmigo, como clases gratis, si no, pues hablemos en espanol! Llevo 9 anos surfeando y entonces tengo bastante experiencia. i need a board!
i´m going to venezuela next week for november and december, hoping to get some waves before checking out colombia. does anyone know of good places to buy a couple of 2nd hand boards and how much they go for there?
