surfing in Venezuela
  The surf season in Venezuela is the North Atantic.
Hurricane season being from August to November, which is not very consistant but powerful, and from late December to April, more consistant because of the northern hemisphere winter.
Location: Northern South America, bordering the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, between Colombia and Guyana
Geographic coordinates: 8 00 N, 66 00 W
Coastline: 2,800 km
Climate: tropical; hot, humid; more moderate in highlands
Terrain: Andes Mountains and Maracaibo Lowlands in northwest; central plains (llanos); Guiana Highlands in southeast
Natural hazards: subject to floods, rockslides, mudslides; periodic droughts
Currency: bolivar (VEB)

Hi

We are three guys who are traveling to Venezuela in May 2009.
I was wondering if you can give me an advice about where we could go to take surf lessons combining tourism as well.

Hey everyone! I want to come to Venezuela for surfing for a month for New Year and January. BUT i can't find any places where to stay. PLease help and advise some nice places, if you know any!!!!!!!!

awsom surf!
I was in VZ in january an there was great surf on margarita. try playa parguito and playa el agua...its defintly worth bringing a board with you. the people are very nice and as long as you respect the locals your good. Dani
