-la aguada now, is not as good as 15 years ago..
yes the wave is very clean and consistent, but not as hollow and long as yesteryears

palomero is right, only 70 mts or less rides, but perfect ones.

those 3 pict are all taked in average days, not medium days like is writed in one...

March is probably the best month to surf in Uruguay. A spring suit would be OK.

Include two boards in your quiver: 6'0 and 6'6. Enough.

To answer your two questions. Q: Do you need a full suit? A: only after you get out of the water and decide to go into a business meeting with the locals tribesmen or politicians for the meeting. I recommend a two piece suit with two buttons verses a three piece suit with the vest. Q: What size board? A: Whatever size board they will allow you to bring on the plane over there and whatever size that you can tie to your bike or walk great distances with as there is no need for an automobile as they will steel it anyway down there.

Uruguay es lindoooooo !
Buena Playa, lindas olas y linda gente. Recomiendo también Punta del Diablo, en especial la playa de la Viuda.
Los días de mar grande, tener cuidado con el banco que queda muy chupado y complica volver al point.

its one of the bests surf spots of uruguay, great waves, big, tubular, and powerful. I meet exelent people surfing in this beach. I realy recomend this beach to any one.
