Punta del Este is more Known but the best waves of uruguay are in Rocha state.
Only in La Paloma you have like 6 beach breaks, 5 point breaks and a few of secret spots, the surfing in uruguay is still in development.

The atmosphere is cool, not very crowded, excellent beach brake, a very fast but hndled wave .
Lot of times, get classic,and tubular, the sharks are not common |

What to say,
first tube ever, after all these years of searching, travelling, chickening out blablabla!
Nice , steep take off, straight in tto the little, glassy, tube, and then everything stood still!
