How to go there
Nils, if you wanna go there during the summer time and you're in Tacna downtown, you can take a taxi for US$1.5 to the Boca del Rio bus stop, where you can take a bus to Boca del Rio. You can also go to Flores Hnos. Bus Station, and buy a ticket to Ilo, which is 2 hrs. from Tacna, then you just get drop in Boca Del Rio, 45 minutes from Tacna city. You'll enjoy it

Hello, i like to go to boca del rio, but i cant find it on google maps...
I also don`t have a car, is it possible to go there with a bus?

Paradise in the middle of nowhere
This place to me means more than just a vacation spot.. I've spent so many years visiting these beaches and getting to know them I can truly say they are the best!!! You can do all kind of sports..surfing is always good.. funny thing .. my first surfing lesson was also in tomoyo beach many years ago..partying..uffff!! even cool for fishing.. sandboarding is also very nice.. this is a place where you'll feel confident to try just about anything.. you'll feel like you own the beach yourself!

I've been there this summer
My best friend took me there a week ago. I liked the place a lot! I am not a surfer but we swam in Playita Brava (one of Boca del Rio's most popular beaches) and, Man, there were waves!!! Plus, seafood is excellent! nothing fancy but fresh and tasty. Talking about a place to hang out specially at night? Go to La Embajada, and get ready to get drunkkk!! I had a lot of fun. Going back soon.
