Anyone surfing northern Perú in May or June? I'll be up there alone but hope to meet up with with some chill heads. I'm staying at hostals in Chicama, Pacasmayo, and Mancora. Bodyboarding is not big in Peru, we got some who surf very well, but our major shit is surfing. although there are some really cool waves of guys like Boris Salas doing drop-knee in Cabo nice. You'll find bigger herds of bodyboarders around Lima. Still since you are south africans i think you will have lots of fun in panic, nice for high airs, it is a natural ramp.

getting around
hi, i am on my way to manorca area. question - how easy it it to travel the spots manorca, cabo, panic, lobitos and others in this area. as i will have no car and will be travelling solo, maybe bus or taxi. i have been places where it is easy to hike 10-15 miles along a stretch of coast searching. is this possible in this area?? where is best to base yourself? aloha peru surfers, seeing you soon!

Along the 5 best waves of the american continent for sure. In Peru Cabo and Panic could be match with Kirra or Jefrys bay in south africa. for sure..even el faro de Pacasmayo for the length. VIVA EL PERU CARAJO !!!!!

We are south africans bodyboarders. We are going to Peru next year, Northen Peru that is. Is there a large Peruvian Bodyboarder population out side Lima?. I can't wait to surf Cabo and Panic.

better than Cabo Blanco. Harder also, faster a little bit. hollow just like cabo, it's also a destroyer of boards. The reef ain't that close like cabo, but way more big rocks. ENUFF SAID. If you surf well, go for it. you may catch the wave of your life.

Hey dumbass, the spot is cabo blanco. That picture is from A. Morante collection. What the fuck is that shit? This entire website is full of surfers conveying incorrect info on good spots to keep people away and assholes talking up poser spots like they know what surfing is.

what's up, I will be in Peru from Aust 12 to 26 and I want to surf panic point. I also want to spend a few days there and I am looking for hostels and hotels. I saw one that looks unbelieveable, but it had no price US? can naybody tell me what'up?
