Additional Surfing Infos
You can drive south of the point of Lobitos around the small cliffs and park the car in fron of the breaking point (not for low clearance cars)
Better if you bring a helmet. The waves brake very close to the rocky shore and there are sharp rocks all around dispersed on a sandy bottom.
After Cabo Blanco and Los Organos, probably is the third most hollow spot.
  Overview
Atmosphere Solitude with hollow & fast waves
General Experienced surfers only. Take off is critical, rip could be strong, and very close rocky shore.

incredible barrels!!
I've been there last october and ride some perfect six feet waves, full barrels all the day, and some suicidal peruvian surfers goin srtaight to the rocks....one of the best spots i've ever surf in the world , goofy's paradise, i got trough the Lobitos beach many times, fast , hollow and deeeeeep tubes!!!!

I FORGOT
There are two big rocks at the point break, you can tell wether there's low tide just by lookin' at them, when you can just the top of them it's mid tide, but when they're completely uncovered (like in one of the pics in this webpage, look back in the left) it's low tide. I add this comment just in case you don't know how to look in the "tide table or chart or graph" (tabla de mareas) i don't know how you people call it. As a said GO THERE AT DAWN-LOW TIDE-BIG SWELL.

SURF IT IN LOW TIDE IN THE EARLY MORNING (not mid, LOW!!!!!!!!)
This is definately one of the best barrels of our north coast, it's a very consistent spot that breaks during all the year (just needs strong swell). I've noticed that it says here in the webpage that you can surf el Hueco in mid tides, it's true you can. Although this is not compared to the real thing, LOW TIDE DUDE, that's when the barrel is more hollow and the wave shows what it's really made of!! So check out for the low tides and it would be even better if you get there at dawn when it's more glassy, YOU'LL WACK AWAY BELEIVE ME!!
