Pasamayo Access |
| |
Has become much more difficult. Pasamayo breaks at the base of massive sand dunes with the Pan American Highway precariously perched above. This stretch of highway is now only accesible by commercial vehicles. Best thing to do is to park at the toll plazas on the north or south end of the highway division and hitch aboard a truck or bus. Or you can try bribing an official to let you take your private car on the road. The spot is about 20 minutes north of Ancon, you will see the peak or peaks breaking at the base of the cliffs. Fun trip down the sand dune, not so fun coming back up. |

Additional Surfing Infos |
| | Pasamayo is an excellent two way reef peak, swell direction dictates which shoulder will be working best. Long walls with tubes. VERY consistent, often too big. If Lima is head high or smaller waves will be 2-3 feet bigger here. Can handle large waves but if Lima is double overhead don't bother with Pasamayo. Cliffs provide wind protection. Getting there is the hardest part.

Overview |
| |
Atmosphere |
Incredible sand dunes and cliffs, an epic landscape. Looks like an arid version of Big Sur in central California. A very fun wave. No facilities so pack in your own food and water, and pack it out! |

Mejor de lo pensado
Nuestros informante decían que iba a estar brutal, pero nos mintieron. Lo que si no estaba brutal, fue el yate que no llevó, impresionante.
