close, Billy Bob, but no cigar... - Dude, you're right on about the subduction zone and lack of "beach"...but comparing any of these breaks listed on this page to Laguna is like comparing vergas to panochas. Any one of these breaks make Salt Creek look like a turd-filled toilet.

high tide only - this wave goes dry at high tide and you hit the reef hard no escape.......... the barrels are worth the punishment. very ledgy and heavy size for size as heavy as shark island australia. bodyboarders or pros only. breaks boards and bodies
