| | It´s a very tradicional surf spot of São Paulo. Guarujá is an urbanized city, with malls, restaurants, hotels and good beach breaks. Pitangueiras is the closest beach to downtown.

Atmosphere |
There are waves all along the beach, but there are 4 main peaks: Sobre as Ondas (connecting with the Asturias beach), Canal (in front of a little polluted river), Ilha (beside de the island) and Maluf (beside the Maluf hill). |

Good and fun waves. There´re always waves here. When everywhere else is flat, there will be a tiny surfable wave in Pitangueiras. Sometimes you can find tubes...
