Very Special I have surfed here a few times. Few tourists, friendly locals-- fun waves. NO town.. just gorgeous beach, warm water, and normally good waves to surf. not too crowded- and great fun..

Local wannabe Saude galera.spent great days in Ita...little expensive though, rich paulistanos paradise. But the beach is nice and with a little bit of size, the right point is going off.Unfortunately there are always dickheads in the water. got run over on purpose by this dipshit wannabe Sunny Garcia. Told me to go out of thewater and shit.So mr. Marica, if you read this: it is very easy to pose and play the tough guy with 40 of your friends in the water.Lucky you that i donīt fight girls, bitch!!!!Anyway, amor y paz para pachamama

Itamambuca Excellent spot, really enjoyable waves. I stayed at the "Vilha" thatīs the south of Itamambuca beach, here is where locals live (nice people) and everything is much cheaper that in the "center" of itamambuca, that its in the other side of the river,, people rent rooms and homes at low prices,,, but staying at the Vilha meens crossing the river every time you go to the beach. At night forget it, thereīs no activity,, thats because of the great consistency of the waves, you cant get out of the water!

Itamambuca I surfed this break in January 2005 and it was absolutley fantastic. A must surf if your passing through. In January the water is very warm (you will only need boardies and a rashy) not sure about the rest of the year though.

good vor beginners too i made my first surf experiences in ubatuba in january 2004. the locals are extremely fair to a beginner like me. i will be there again at carneval 2005.i love the waves and can practice without disturbing the good riders... snowboarding in switzerland is great too, but at last i love the sun,the warm water, and the best beef of the world in brasil! see you there! (sorry,my bad english)
