I've surfing this spot for about ten years. I guess Formiga, like the beginners surfing there, don't know the "Mocó". The prainha works well with a northern swell producing good tubular waves up to 1,0 - 1,5 meters. Anyway, the Cardoso beach is a much more frequent spot, with a better quality wave, specially during winter (also when there is no crowd, including weekends).

Is my favourite wave in Farol, this wave is great right with two secctions...
Good for tubes.
