It`s a short funny wave in front of a small jetty. When it's good it has a short tube in front of the jetty and the second section is a nice closeout on the shore. It's better to surf it on low tide and in winter or spring seasons.

Atmosphere
The atmosphere is good... In summer it's a bit crowded but it's empty mornings or afternoons. Careful with the first section in front of the rocks. When the swell is very big the wave is long and a little outside the coast with strong currents. That sucks, better ride it with low tide.
General
I like it, I live in front of it and when it's good it's a funny wave. Nice to bodysurf on the shore too :). Enjoy Argentina waves and girls and w--d!

All this beaches are gonna disappear
All the beaches of La Perla coastline in Mar del Plata are gonna dissapear...they are going to trow the jettys in form of "T" wich is good....but with the rocks they are gonna form two huge T jettys at both sides and they are gonna destroy the swell...hope in big days it forms a right in one of the jettys but we dont know , its a shame

well its not a worth buuuut sometimes can get really hollow (can break in summer too so watch it) people dont go to this break (i say swimmers and that shit) because there is no beach its only rocks to get out but you can`t get hurt the break its alfonsina but more at the right its the rocky shore when breaks "el paseo" and "las bocas" (las bocas never breaks only 1 or 2 times in years) but el paseo its a very good wave for body boarding can get hollow and its an easy wave not very crowded nice locals , beware of your things!!
