This spot changes it has its good and bad days. I've had only one runin with a shark there the waves are mostly good for longboard the waves are better if you go to the left or right when you hit the beach it doesn't really matter. Its really never crowded outa th emost surfers i think theres about 8 or 9 surfers in both castaway 1 and 2 combined.
General
This spot is extreemly good for bigginers except on the choppy days its getts really rough but I think its pretty good for learning to do tricks ( spray, cutback,reverse,etc.)
